Construction Update:
Contractors pass baton from Phase 1 to Phase 2
GOLDEN– In an informal ceremony, a ceremonial baton has been passed between contractors working on the Kicking Horse Canyon Project.
The passing of the baton marks the transition of work from Emil Anderson Construction Ltd., completing the last contract on Phase 1 of the project (new Yoho Bridge and approaches), to Trans-Park Highway Constructors, which has been working on Phase 2 (new Park Bridge and nearly 6 km of associated highway) for about a year.
Construction of Phase 2 is expected to be complete by early 2008 |
